In case of bacterial sore throat, taking antibiotics will be required, the type of which and dosage will be correctly calculated only by a doctor. It is necessary to observe a bed rest and as much as possible to promote recovery. In addition to rinsing with antiseptics or decoction of herbs, it is important to drink plenty of fluids so that toxins are eliminated from the body more quickly. Food should be soft and slightly warm (mashed potatoes, soups, steamed vegetables, fish) so as not to irritate and scratch the sore throat.
